Anthony Casey. Financial Controller at W.Howard Kildare
Biog: I am a Chartered Accountant and have been with the business since 2001. I was delighted when our site became a part of the W.Howard Group in 2016. Originally from Tipperary I am naturally a fan of the best field sport in the world, Hurling!
Biog: I’m really excited to have joined WHL at a time when it’s moving forward and growing so strongly. I’m hoping to bring some new ideas to the Polyco range by working with the team in Newtown. I join the company after 7 years with another MDF profile wrapper which has given me thorough product and industry knowledge. When I’m not working I still run out for my local league football team, just about. I’m also a season ticket holder at Goodison Park. I juggle the football around looking after my young son.
Biog: Joining W Howard in March 2019, I am excited to be part of the team building on W.Howard's sustained success. The key for me is, when Customers choose W.Howard as their supplier of choice, we must ensure their experience is always a positive one. Outside of work I enjoy keeping fit and I also seem to have resigned myself to the role of taxi for the kids!
Damian Woods. National Account Manager / Business Development Manager
Biog: From joining W.Howard in 2017, I have been impressed not only with the wide range of solutions we can offer but also with the ethos that places our customers at the centre of every activity. For myself, I enjoy travelling around the country and re-discovering the things locals take for granted.
Biog: I joined WHL in March 2018 and enjoy leading and developing the Group Commercial Teams, with excellent customer service being our top priority at all times. I’m a Shrewsbury Town fan for my sins away from work and enjoy supporting my children in their hobbies.
Biog: I joined WHL in January 2017. After discovering what a great reputation the WHL group have, I was honoured to be appointed for this position. I really enjoy working with new and existing customers and take pleasure in building strong partnering relationships, with clients and my colleagues. I also have a great interest in motorcycle racing.
Biog: Having started as an Apprentice Wood Machinist, I have over 25 years experience in all areas of MDF processing. I have acquired skills on-the-job, in planning, procurement, materials management and production management. I enjoy the challenges (and the headaches) of management and absolutely love the “can do” attitude that is so prevalent at all levels within the W.Howard Group. My downtime revolves around the family (blessed among women) and regular rounds of golf.
Biog: I joined the family business in 1986 after gaining my degree in Timber Technology. Having done practically every job in the company, I now thoroughly enjoy looking to the future and building a great team of people to drive the business forward for the benefit of all our customers and stakeholders.
Biog: Having joined WHK in July 2017 I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead the Kildare team at such an exciting time for the business. When I am not making MDF mouldings I can be found on my bike training for the next race!
Biog: I joined WHL in Nov 2014 as Receptionist, my role has progressed along with the needs of the business and I enjoy every day no matter what the challenge is. When I’m not at WHL I start my other job as a wife and mother, it’s no wonder I’m becoming a Gin connoisseur!!
Biog: I joined WHL in 2002 and am privileged to be part of a progressive business that prides itself on building long lasting relationships with customers and employees alike; I am also the token fan of Everton Football Club – another privilege!
Biog: I joined WHL in 2014 as a Forklift Operator. After being given the chance to progress I took on the role of an Estimator in March 2017. I have found this move to be challenging yet rewarding. When I’m not working, I like to play Rugby, both league and union.
Biog: Since joining WHL in 2009 I have been fortunate to work for a dynamic business with both personal and professional development at its core. We continue to push the market in terms of product development whilst maintaining a strong family ethos throughout the business.
Biog: Since joining WHL in 2012 it has been a pleasure to be part of an approachable and attentive business that continuously strives to improve and adapt in order to provide the highest level of customer service.
Biog: Having worked for WHL for plus 20 years, it goes without saying that I am proud to be part of a company that invests in its employees as well as its customers. It has been and still is a privilege to have grown, and continue to grow with the company.
Biog: Really pleased to have joined WHL in April 2019 at such an exciting time for the company and am looking forward to using my years of timber trading experience to help push the business forward. Another Man City fan for my sins having endured all the dark days! Also enjoy photography, cycling and really like cooking.
