What do you do at W.Howard? So my role is quite varied and no two days are the same, from order processing and supporting the external sales team to liaising with transport to fulfil customers requirements.
I am also part of the team that deals with customer queries and enquiries through means of telephone or email, these tasks are wildly varied and can be regarding service lead times or core range pricing to core range profile sizes and obtaining proof of delivery notes.

What do you most enjoy about working at W.Howard? The people! It’s that family environment you feel when you walk through that front door. A business would be nothing without the people, and the company just get it. No matter your job title or position within the company we are all equal as human beings.
Its one of the reasons I decided to take the job, to work for a company with people who actually care for you on a personal level. Something I felt within the first minute of arriving for my interview. A family business that still holds those family morals at its core.
What is your Favourite Product and why? Hmm…. I have two. In my house we picked Ogee as I think that’s the post appealing physically, but if we were to judge on name it would be Ovolo 13 purely because of the number 13
Oh and it has to be Primed.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Manage your expectations
What most recently made you smile? Seeing my daughters face at the Woodland Halloween light walk. A child’s joy is one of the purest thing’s in this world

When I left school at 16 I started an apprenticeship with BT planning underground infrastructure for new build housing properties.
