W.Howard spreads festive cheer with children’s Christmas card competition.

W.Howard Group has kicked off its 2021 Christmas celebrations with a Christmas card competition for children at a local primary school.

Every child at the Gilded Hollins Community Primary School in Leigh, Lancashire, was given a W.Howard tree template and asked to design a Christmas tree to be used on W.Howard’s company Christmas card.

Designs were submitted by all 209 pupils, with a winner then chosen from each class.

Rob Povah, National Account Manager at W.Howard Group, visited Gilded Hollins on 29th November, 2021, to present the winners with their prizes during the morning’s assembly, alongside school Headteacher Mrs Burns, and Deputy Headteacher Mrs Malley.

Each child who submitted a winning design received an artist collection gift box, while every single child in the school received a chocolate selection box as a thank you for taking part.

Rob said: “The winning designs have now been turned into Christmas cards and we look forward to our customers receiving them soon.

“We would like to thank every pupil, and all of the staff at Gilded Hollins Community Primary School, for all the effort and hard work they put into the designs. We were blown away by the children’s creativity, which made picking the winners exceptionally tough!”
