3D technology brings your profiles to life.

If you have an idea for a new shape of moulding, skirting or architrave, or you need to match an existing profile as part of a building renovation, then W.Howard Group can help.

W.Howard Group has installed an advanced 3D printer in their head office at Glazebury, Warrington. The printer can be used to make complex 3D templates of any shape or size. That means you can see, touch and feel any unique profile concept at an early design stage, to make sure you’re completely happy with it before making a purchase. And, if you have an existing moulding to match, we can use it to create an exact replica ready for production.

The 3D template is created from a digital file, laying down extremely thin layers of additive on top of each other until the object is complete. This technology means W.Howard Group can create a physical model of any profile faster and using less materials than traditional template manufacturing methods – making it better for the environment, cheaper and more convenient for W.Howard Group’s customers.

Simon Fleet, Group Commercial Director, says: “This latest investment in our technology and manufacturing processes is the next step in our development plans as we continue to grow the business. Any customer looking to create a bespoke profile for a special project can come to us and we will print a 3D template for them to examine. This gives them the reassurance that the profile is exactly what they want before they commission them for manufacture. It’s yet another way in which we are going the extra mile to support our customers, and we’re sure they will welcome this additional service.”
