W.Howard retains multiple ISO standards.

W.Howard has been successfully recertified for the ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards for another year. This accreditation demonstrates the company has quality management systems in place that meet international standards.

Organisations use ISO9001 to demonstrate their ability to provide products and services that meet the regulations and satisfy their customer’s requirements. Also an international standard, ISO14001 specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system, providing a framework for businesses to systematise their environmental management efforts.

OHSAS18001 covers occupational health and safety management. Achieving this standard demonstrates that W. Howard has a safe, healthy work environment, identifying and controlling health and safety risks to reduce potential for accidents and improving the company’s overall performance.

The standards are managed by Alcumus ISOQAR in line with UKAS Management Systems, the body for UK national standards.

Group Managing Director Graham Williams said: “I am delighted that we have been successfully recertified for these incredibly important standards and would like to thank everyone within the business who has worked so hard to achieve them.

“This certification is testament to their hard work in ensuring W.Howard has clear and compliant structures in place across all parts of the business and bolsters our position as a market leader in the supply of quality MDF profiles to builders’ merchants and specialist trade manufacturers.”

W.Howard is the leading supplier of quality MDF profiles, including skirting, architraves, window boards, door linings and bespoke products. The products are available primed, veneered and foil wrapped, with bespoke profiles and CNC machining also available.
