This month sees MDF profiling specialist W.Howard Group introduce a new range of special primed profiles - called the Signature Range. The collection of tooling ready profiles has been launched on the Group's website offering a wider range of choice for the builders' merchant market. The Signature Range will provide customers with additional profiling options if they require something a little more bespoke from the original core range, without the associated tooling costs normally expected.
Speaking about the launch of the range, W.Howard Group managing director, Graham Williams said: "The Signature Range will enhance our already wide offering by providing the market with a greater choice. It demonstrates a move away from our standard core range offers - but without additional tooling costs.”
"As well as bringing lead times down, this range will give our customers a new, innovative option to buy something bespoke as and when it is required."
Manufactured at W.Howard's Manchester site, orders will be created from accurate computer drawings, which are presented for customer approval. The tooling is then retrieved from the library and checked for accuracy to within thousandths of millimetres before being accurately mounted onto the Weinig moulders on the W.Howard production line for product realisation to the customer’s specification.
Existing, indicative profile drawings, allow for customisation of position and size of grooves, chamfers and rebates in any material thickness and length. All profiles (core range, signature range or made to order) can be fully finished in a RAL colour of your choice.
